Specialist in Prosthodontics

Philip graduated from the University of Leeds in 2001 and went onto gain extensive experience in general practice and hospital dentistry in the immediate years post graduation. During this time Philip also attained his Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practice in 2003 and Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2004.

In 2009 Philip began a four year masters and specialist training programme in fixed and removable prosthodontics at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute, London. Philip attained his master's degree with distinction, winning the UCL Alumni Prize for clinical and academic excellence. Philip gained his Membership in Prosthodontics from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2013 and was awarded the MRD Home Medal for the candidate attaining the highest marks. In the same year Philip also gained his Membership in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Philip is a registered Specialist in Prosthodontics with the General Dental Council and a visiting lecturer in Prosthodontics at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute.

Philip's main dental focus is the long-term care of his patients and their families and undertaking advanced restorative dentistry (crowns, bridges, dentures, aesthetic and implant dentistry). Philip places particular emphasis on evidence-based dentistry to achieved predictable long-term outcomes for his patients and seeks a minimal intervention approach, conservative of the natural tooth, where possible.
